SOREL S18 Campaign

Traditionally known for their heavy winter boots, footwear brand SOREL launched a line of spring/summer wedges into the market in 2018 seeking to become a year round business. To tell this story, we needed assets including on-body lifestyle photography, and creative product photography that could pair with the lifestyle images or live on its own.

Our chosen concept used a dynamic blend of graphic, angular lines and color pops. The lines of the backgrounds were chosen to accentuate the diagonal shapes of the wedges. As most of the collection was monochromatic, we chose to add bright summer colors in backgrounds and graphic elements to help the assets stand out in the warmer months.
My role in this project was the creation of photography briefs for both lifestyle and product, including a detailed styling deck for the on-body images. On set, I collaborated with the art direction and styling for the product images, as well as helping to chose final selects for lifestyle. I created the final style guide including graphic design for online look books, heroes, emails, Pinterest pins, web banners and more.
